Introduction

John 20:21 captures the very heart of Missio Dei, the Mission of God.

It is His Mission, before it is ours!

So, how does the missional God show us His heart?

A. THE FATHER SENT THE SON

“As the Father has sent Me …” (v. 21a)

B. THE SON NOW SENDS THE CHURCH

“… even so I am sending you.” (v. 21b)
