FAMILY LIFE MINISTRIES
Overview of FLIC
Family Life in Covenant (FLiC) seeks to disciple every Covenanter in their family relationships and life seasons through safe empowering communities, impacting generations of families for God’s Kingdom.
FLiC takes a holistic approach, recognising that individuals shape and are shaped by their families. Through her 7 ministries from young adults to seniors, singles to married couples and parents, support groups, counselling, inner healing and deliverance, FLiC disciples individuals within the context of their family relationships and life seasons.

Young-Adults-in-Covenant (YAIC)
YAIC ministers to young adults who are 19-35 years old across all the worship centres in Covenant EFC.
YAIC’s vision is anchored in Leviticus 20:26 where we envision developing everyone to be: A Certain Kind of young adult who is SET APART through the journey to adulthood for the glory of God.
YAIC’s mission of empowering young adults to be SET APART through their life transitions is accomplished through three biblical convictions that undergirds all the vehicles established in the ministry. Young Adults are SET APART through:
- ANCHORING In the Word of God (Psalms 1:1-3).
- ABIDING by the Will of God (John 15:1-11).
- ARISING to do the Work of God (Ephesians 2: 8-10)

WIC believes that A Certain Kind of woman is restored in her significance, security and relationships through love and forgiveness that will ultimately bring healing to her home and community Their anchor verse is found in Isaiah 58: 11-12.

Men-in-Covenant (MIC)
MIC provides men with a safe place to share authentically, find acceptance, and be encouraged to cultivate empowering relationships.
MIC’s vision to help men on their journey is anchored in Mark 2:5, “When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralysed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Thereby becoming A Certain Kind of man who is secure in his identity, responsible, walks in brokenness with integrity, accountable, and is boldly living out his destiny for the glory of God.
Together with in-house discipleship resources, MIC’s discipleship platform includes:
- Men’s Breakthrough Weekend

Marriage-in-Covenant (MGIC)
MGIC envisions every marriage increasingly reflecting God’s design for covenant union and the relationship of Christ with His Church (Genesis 2:24–25; Matthew 19:4–6; Ephesians 5:22–33).
Our mission is to return marriages to the garden of God’s design by discipling husbands and wives in safe communities to become A Certain Kind of Married Couple, living out their covenant headship and helper roles toward greater oneness and maturity in Christ.
MGIC journeys with couples from singlehood and courtship through marriage preparation and the different seasons of marriage. Through biblical teaching, practical tools, intentional spaces to experience God, marriage mentors, and safe marital communities, we equip couples to pursue purity, build healthy relationships, discern marriage, and grow in Christlike love, humility, honour, and mutual care.
Our platforms include:
- Marriage Breakthrough Weekend (MgBTW)
- Art of Marriage Retreat (AOM)
- Marriage Preparation Course
- Discovery Weekend (DWE)

Parents-in-Covenant (PIC)
PIC advocates for discipleship to begin at home, and encourages parents in various seasons of their journey to come together to learn, grow, and serve together.
PIC believes that children are a gift from the Lord (Psalms 127:3), and that it is a joy to bring children up in the way of the Lord (Deuteronomy 6:7 and Proverbs 22:6).
PiC recognises that unexamined parenting styles could affect a couple’s relationship, and the children’s faith formation, character development, as well as their biblical values and worldview. Thus, special attention must be paid to:
- Content: Asynchronous learning through guided materials
- Community: Couples gathering together in groups of three to four once a month
- Consecration: Husband and wife journeying together, and with fellow parents, to cultivate healthy relationships with their children
If you are in the season of parenting journey (newborn to teens), please pray and consider joining a Safe Parenting Community (SPC) to learn & grow together.

Encouragers-in-Covenant (EIC)
EiC seeks to establish a Final Third community for those aged 55 and above where seniors will aspire for their final third season to be their finest hour.
Key scriptural anchors include Isaiah 43:18-19 (the “new” God has for us), 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (daily renewed spirit despite ageing bodies) and 1 Corinthians 1:27-28 (God uses the frail, the foolish and the forgotten). On these bases, we call seniors to flourish in spiritual vitality, active service, and empowerment by the Holy Spirit, so that they will be filled with a godly resolve to be a key spiritual force in advancing the Kingdom of God.
To this end, EiC runs a diversity of platforms including:
- SeniorsUNITE! deals with key discipleship issues relevant to seniors
- Spiritual Retreat for a time away to encounter God
- EiC Bonding Day
There are also a myriad of smaller scale activities at each centre to cater to various discipleship and community needs.

Care-in-Covenant (CIC)
CIC’s vision is to see every person in affliction healed and made whole to become a certain kind of disciplemaker, desiring that individuals walking through pain and suffering may return to a steadfast hope in Christ.
As Covenant EFC’s counseling and inner healing ministry, CIC believes that there is a need for people to be restored in their significance and security. Anchored in Galatians 6:2, to “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” in order that they might bring healing to their hearts, homes, and communities.
CiC strives to create a safe space where individuals can be real about their struggles and allow God to break into their pain. This is done through platforms such as biblical counseling and prayer ministry.
