The Next Generation (TNG) ministries are committed to disciple our young ones to become vibrant young disciples who are excited about Jesus, gripped by the Word of God, filled with His Spirit, and daring to share Christ with others. Reporting to The Next Generation Director, this role is required to align in strategy, model the values and lead the assigned ministry towards TNG mission in CEFC as an Intentional DiscipleMaking Church.

The key responsibilities include the following:

  • Disciple the next generation within and outside of CEFC through Authentic Discipleship Intentional Disciplemaking (ADID) to win the world for Christ.
  • Challenge the F.A.T (Faithful, Available and Teachable) young ones in CEFC to rise up and serve as disciple-makers.
  • Engage, captivate and transform our next generation through the preaching of the Word of God and vibrant worship.
  • Cast vision, lead and shepherd lay team of leaders and parents.
  • Lead and thrive the weekly TNG worship services for his/her assigned ministry by empowering the lay team in the weekly preaching of God’s Word, vibrant worship and culture building.
  • Organise TNG projects such as One80, Generations Camp etc with TNG staff team.


  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a shepherd’s heart.
  • Strong team player with creative collaboration skills.
  • Experience in strategic planning, execution and vision casting is required.
  • Minimum Diploma holder.

CEFC is looking for an energetic and experienced software developer to join our IT team as we transform and chart our way to impact the church and society through software technologies and applications.

The IT Team is a forward-looking team, and willing to try and experiment with new ideas and methods as we try to implement IT best practices.

CEFC IT has been building an IT platform over these few years using various IT new technologies.

We look for people with ideas and zeal to work with us to continue to raise the bar – people who are willing to learn, persevere in overcoming obstacles, and desire to make an impact for the gospel with their God-given talents.

Reporting to the IT Director, this role is responsible to develop in-house software and websites to support the Church.

The job responsibilities include:

  • Deliver timely, working, and robust (clean code) software (including mobile apps) to meet the requirements of software projects using Agile/TDD and in-house software development methodologies (including design and programming practices).
  • Work with the incumbent software developer to refactor existing in-house software, develop new websites or modify existing websites.
  • Work with external software SIs on APIs and integration with in-house applications.
  • Assist to build a community of software developers (within and outside CEFC) who can contribute to building software for the church.


  • Minimum Degree holder in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5 years of full-time software development working experience.
  • Working knowledge of current software development methodologies and frameworks.
  • Familiar with Linux and Cloud architecture/networking in software development (security, resilience, etc.).
  • Experience with databases primarily MySQL and MariaDB and preferably ORM framework.
  • Experience in software design, Agile development, and TDD.
  • Knowledge of coding languages such as PHP and Python, web development languages and mobile app languages.
  • Conversant in design patterns.
  • Familiar with customization of websites using WordPress and Joomla and using plugins.
  • Preferably possess aesthetic taste in web design with UI or UX experience.
  • Able to communicate technical concepts using language appropriate to the stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Team player willing to share information and work towards critical goals of the team.
  • Good relationship building skills to work effectively with staff, users and partners.

  • Proficient in preparing presentations for speaking engagements using Microsoft Powerpoint or Canva etc.
  • Able to research, organise and analyse relevant information and data.
  • Strong administrative skills to support ministries and staff team.
