Reporting to the Director of IT, and a key member of the CEFC IT project team, this role is responsible to deliver practical digital solutions and systems in collaboration with fellow IT colleagues, stakeholders and partners.
The key responsibilities include the following:
A. Identified & Planned Projects
- Partner stakeholder team members to document ministry and department requirements through user-centric, visual methods such as user journeys/stories, workflows and functional/technical specifications, and develop appropriate ministry/organisational cases
- Evaluate and recommend suitable technology while aligning with CEFC’s technology direction towards cloud-based, enterprise architecture and modernization of legacy systems.
- Manage the development of the solution/system through selected partners, and ensure solution/system readiness for smooth deployment, adoption and operations.
- Analyse impact of requested changes and propose improvements to continuously address changing ministry/organisational needs, and to address technical problems during the operations & maintenance phase of the system.
B. Improvements & Digital Automation
- Assist the Director of IT to identify new opportunities for CEFC’s Digital Transformation, including identifying processes that may benefit from process automation, developing the appropriate ministry/organizational case for improvement, sizing the technology required, evaluating suitable partners, seeking the budget, finding the stakeholders and initiating the project.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Computing or equivalent.
- Self-starter and pro-active to recommend improvement initiatives, and a resourceful team member with good tech/digital knowledge. Experience in strategic planning, execution and vision casting is required.
- Possess innovative and creative outlook with good influencing, interpersonal and communication skills that can contribute positively to teamwork.
- Possess good problem identification and problem-solving skills to identify problems, understand root causes and propose solutions.
- Adept at balancing multiple projects concurrently while constantly looking for new ways to apply digital technologies to meet identified church and organisational needs.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.

The Next Generation (TNG) ministries are committed to disciple our young ones to become vibrant young disciples who are excited about Jesus, gripped by the Word of God, filled with His Spirit, and daring to share Christ with others. They are young but passionate in building His Church. We want to see revival movement in our church and beyond!
Reporting to The Next Generation Director, this role is required to align in strategy, model the values and lead the assigned ministry towards TNG mission in CEFC as an Intentional Disciplemaking Church.
The key responsibilities include the following:
- Disciple the next generation within and outside of CEFC through Authentic Discipleship Intentional Disciplemaking (ADID) to win the world for Christ.
- Challenge the F.A.T. (Faithful, Available and Teachable) young ones in CEFC to rise up and serve as disciple-makers.
- Engage, captivate and transform our next generation through the preaching of the Word of God and vibrant worship.
- Cast vision, lead and shepherd lay team of leaders and parents.
- Lead and thrive the weekly TNG worship services for his/her assigned ministry by empowering the lay team in the weekly preaching of God’s Word, vibrant worship and culture building.
- Organise TNG projects such as One80, Generations Camp etc with TNG staff team.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a shepherd’s heart.
- Strong team player with creative collaboration skills.
- Experience in strategic planning, execution and vision casting is required.
- Minimum Diploma holder.

Working closely with the Pastoral Staff of the Mandarin Ministry based in Woodlands Centre, this role is part of the Mandarin Ministry Team to lead and shepherd the Mandarin congregation and reach the lost in the community.
The key responsibilities include the following:
- Provide pastoral care to the Mandarin congregation. This includes looking into their spiritual well-being, providing counselling advice and conducting home and hospital visitations.
- Partner with the Pastoral Staff to identify, raise and train lay leaders (Zone Mentor, CGLs and ministry leaders), shepherd CGLs and respective CGs, and nurture new believers.
- Conduct CGL trainings for lay leaders and teach Bible Study sessions for the lay members.
- Organise the Mandarin Ministry outreach efforts as part of the Ministry Team in their regular outreach efforts via the Happiness Group, Outreach Sunday events such as Easter and Mid-Autumn festival, and Community Connect eventsto reach out and connect with pre-believers.
- Co-ordinate Mandarin Service administration and operations. This includes collating ministry attendance and payments, administration of room bookings and transport arrangements
when necessary, and updating of service announcements.
Requirements:
- Strong team player with a servant heart.
- Able to connect with the Chinese-speaking and elderly communities
- Good command of both Chinese and English is advantageous. Must be conversant in Mandarin to minister to the needs of the congregation.
- Able to manage online applications such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams

Reporting to the IT Director, this role is responsible to manage, maintain and enhance the church’s IT network, systems & its Security across all premises, and works closely with vendors and service providers to deliver the services required.
The job responsibilities include the following:
- Monitor and analyze network and system performance and activity.
- Work with vendors and service providers for scheduled maintenance, regular system patching upgrades and tech refresh of IT systems which includes but not limited to CEFC’s Internet systems, on-premise hardware and software, and services.
- Protect CEFC’s network and system environments by implementing security measures to support a Zero-Trust environment.
- Manage and maintain all CEFC’s security certificates and compliance of security and privacy requirements under PDPA.
- Maintain validity of warranties, certificates, licenses of network devices and tools.
- Assist to ensure that all CEFC IT network devices and on-premise systems are recorded, tagged, and accounted for, according to asset management and audit requirements of CEFC.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Computing or equivalent. Fresh Graduates may apply.
- Possess problem solving, innovative and creative skills.
- Able to effectively manage tasks from initiation, planning, execution, testing, acceptance, and training, and follow through on successful completion of projects.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.

As part of the Ministries Operations team, this operational role is responsible to provide operations and administrative support for the SGI (Small Group Infrastructure) Ministry. This includes Covenant Group (CG) related events such as baptism and membership, interviews and trainings, involving leaders and congregation
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Leaders (CG Leader/Zone Mentor) Training. This includes processing applications, liasing with participants, updating master attendance listing, coordinating logistics setup, collating online feedback forms and training administration.
- Administer Membership related matters. This includes planning and organising membership class, coordinating interviews and membership acceptance events, and updating the church management system.
- Support the District Mentors on District matters. Provide district related data for planning purpose. First point-of-contact to address CG Leaders and CG Members email queries. Update church management system on District and CG changes.
- Actively implement continuous improvement opportunities in the SGI ministry including automating and centralizing processes.
- Provide administrative support as assigned to support SGI-related events, including baptism services and Hello groups.
- Support in assigned ministries as needed for Sunday Services and Church-wide events.
Requirements:
- Excellent administrative skills with an eye for details.
- Keen problem-solver.
- Strong ability to multi-task and meet tight datelines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including MS Teams, and Zoom.

As part of the Ministries Operations team, this operational role supports the running of the ministry events and weekly Sunday programs in alignment with the Church and TNG ministry direction. This role is responsible for the operational, administrative and logistical requirements of the various TNG ministries and co-ordinates with other departments to facilitate planning and execution of TNG events and activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, co-ordinating and managing TNG events and activities such as Baptism, Generations Camp, One80. These include registration, budgeting, sourcing, liaising with vendors, logistics, ground operations and volunteer involvement.
- Provide support for TNG administrative matters such as managing the database and website, updating ministry calendar and attendances.
- Participate in TNG meetings, host and facilitate online meetings and assist in notes taking.
- Prepare announcement materials and logistical support in studio audio and/or video recordings.
- Archive TNG ministry’s e-resources.
- Actively seek continuous improvement opportunities of operational processes in the TNG ministry for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Excellent administrative skills with an eye for details.
- Keen problem-solver with proven experience in process management.
- Strong ability to multi-task and meet tight datelines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including MS Teams, and Zoom.
- Good command of both English and Chinese will be advantageous.
