Introduction

1. The Bless-Worthiness of God
   a. The Trinitarian Work of Redemption (Eph 1:3–14)

   b. Three Particular Clauses:
    i. God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing (v. 3)
    ii. God has predestined us to be adopted as His sons (v. 5)
    iii. God has made known to us the mystery of His will (v. 9)

Our key focus for this message, Ephesians 1:9–10:
“making known to us the mystery of His will, according to His purpose, which He set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth in Him.”

c. Two critical aspects of the cosmic blueprint of God:

A. GOD’S PERFECT PLAN

Ephesians 1:10, “as a plan for the fullness of time.”

B. GOD’S PERFECT PURPOSE

Ephesians 1:10, “to unite all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth in Him.”
