Introduction

The people’s accusation: Serving God is not worth it (3:13-15).

Three Things we learn about God in His response:

A. HE IS A GOD OF FAITHFULNESS WHO REMEMBERS (3:16)

1. He remembers the faithful
2. He is committed to the faithful

B. HE IS A GOD OF JUSTICE WHO DISTINGUISHES (3:17-4:3)

1. The distinction will be clear
2. The distinction will be in His good time

C. HE IS A GOD OF GRACE WHO REACHES OUT (4:5-6)

He will send “Elijah” to warn and call to repentance.
