YAIC GILGAL Camp is designed to empower 18-year-olds graduating from the TNG youth space to step confidently into their young adulthood.
Gilgal was a place of significance for the people of God. In Joshua 4-6 after crossing the Jordan River, the next generation commemorated God’s faithfulness, consecrated themselves to Him, and were commissioned for the mission ahead. This camp will be broken up into the three movements:
1. Commemorate: Remembering God’s faithfulness and honoring those that discipled them.
2. Consecrate: Responding to God’s call to live set apart for Him in all arenas of life. We will be touching on four key arenas of life — Perspective, Purpose, Purity, People.
3. Commissioning: Reaching the world with the gospel as disciples who will disciple others. We will end the camp with a commissioning service where parents, DMKs, and TNG staff are invited for a special commissioning of the 18-year-olds.
