Bukit Panjang Move to ACS(I)

“Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power…” – Psalm 110:3

Hi BPJ Covenanters! We are so thankful to see from our last survey that at least 95% of us are moving together to ACSI during our A&A phase (Q1 2026-Q2 2028). That said, this is a spiritual move more than it is a physical one. For our God is on the throne and on the move! And we believe He has gone ahead of us in the journey ahead. So that as we stay attuned and aligned to Him, we would witness first-hand more and more people believing and following Jesus, and becoming disciplemakers in His Kingdom!

Here is in this page are the common questions and queries most of us would have, with regards to worshipping together at ACSI. If you have not found your ‘once a month’ station to join in this spiritual and historic move, may I strongly encourage you to do so via this link.

Looking forward to see you at ACSI!

Frequently Asked Questions

Sunday Worship Service

The following congregations will move together with the English congregation to ACSI:

  • Children (Infants, Toddlers, Pre-school, Lower Primary, and Upper Primary)
  • Youth (13-18 years old)
  • Filipino Fellowship

BPJ Mandarin congregation, Hokkien congregations, and Indonesian fellowship will move out to different external premises. See below for details.

There is ample foyer space with brown benches for pre- and post- service fellowship.

Our current projection is to return by end Q2 of 2028, depending on construction progress.

We plan to begin services in Q1 2026 on 1 March 2026

Moving to an external venue with the necessary facilities will enable us …

  • To help BPJ Covenanters better navigate this transition by changing only the venue (for English adults, children and youth), without changing the day and time of our worship services
  • To better accommodate families by synching our Youth service to our 10:45am Adult English service.
  • To begin habituating BPJ Covenanters towards Sunday ministry arrangements planned for our post-A&A BPJ Centre (e.g. synching Youth service to Adult English service timing)

Moreover, moving together as a centre is the only arrangement that will not disrupt the relationships of our TNG (children and youth) with their DMKs and with their friends.

TNG Services

Yes. Toddler, Preschool and LPUP are still required to check-in their attendance at Registration Counters.

  • Youth Service 10:45 am to 12 pm at Lecture Theatre 3 (Level 1)
  • Youth CG 12:30 to 2pm. Allocated classrooms. Some may also meet in open the open spaces within the school compound as options.  Please seek guidance from the respective DMKs.

Adult English Congregation
Mandarin & Hokkien Congregation

The Mandarin and Hokkien congregations are demographically different from the English congregation, and so their needs are different too. Ease of access as well as travelling distance are a priority, while their congregation sizes are also much smaller. As such, the facilities at the Korean Church in Singapore are more suitable for the Mandarin and Hokkien congregations, while the needs of the English congregation are better served at ACSI.

The Hokkien worship service will be held on Saturdays, at 5:30 pm.

The Mandarin worship service will be held on Sundays, at 4:30 pm.

This adjustment in service time is necessary due to availability of the premises.
