3. Because Paul knew the Righteous One, he also was able to know what was right.
4. How do we know the Righteous One?
5. First, by reading His Word.
6. Second, we have the Holy Spirit, who brings His Word to us.
7. Thirdly, God’s will is discovered in a Spirit-filled community.
Conclusion
1. Expert opinion, majority votes, and pragmatic circumstantial evidence are not fool-proof ways of determining what is right and wrong.
2. To know the right from wrong, we must know the Righteous One, the triune God.
3. He guides us through His Word, His Spirit, and His Body, the Church.
