Happy 25th Anniversary, New Life! 

Psalm 113:1 – “Praise the Lord!” is not a suggestion but a command. The climax is found in a rhetorical question that changes everything: “Who is like the Lord our God?” (v. 5). No one!

We praise God because He is uniquely revealed in two powerful ways:

A. GOD IS HIGH: GLORIOUS IN MAJESTY (vv. 1-4)

“The LORD is high above all nations, and His glory above the heavens.” (v. 4)

B. GOD IS HUMBLE: GRACIOUS IN MERCY (vv. 6-9)

“He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap … to make them sit with princes, with the princes of His people.” (vv. 7-8)

Conclusion

Who is there like You, O God?
