The Year of Jubilee – a holy rhythm of redemption, a Sabbath of Sabbaths.
What was the Year of Jubilee really about? Let’s explore this question through a journey with three checkpoints:
A. RESPONSIBILITY: RELEASE DEBTS (Lev 25:10-13, 28, 39-41)
B.REASON: RETURN TO YOUR INHERITANCE (Lev 25:23, Jer 34:17)
C. REDEEMER: JESUS IS OUR JUBILEE (Lk 4:16-19)
How might we live out the Jubilee? Two questions for reflection:
1. Are we walking in freedom, or squandering our spiritual inheritance?
2. Are we helping others to walk in freedom, proclaiming Jesus the Jubilee?
Conclusion
Will we live as Jubilee people today?
