Verse 16: “But to what shall I compare this generation?”

What “this generation” means …

The question before us will we be:

A. A HARDENED GENERATION THAT REJECTS JESUS? OR …

1. They were foolish towards God’s ways. (vv. 16-19)

2. They failed to repent at Jesus’ mighty works. (vv. 20-24)

Jesus pronounces judgements on Chorazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum.

B. … A HUMBLE GENERATION THAT RESTS IN JESUS?

1. Jesus unveils three truths (vv. 25-27)

2. Jesus invites all who are weary and heavy laden (vv. 28-30)

Conclusion
Would we be the kind of generation God desires?
