Introduction
Life is a series of choices.
Some choices have minor consequences, while others shape our destiny.
Jesus, in the Sermon on the Mount, concludes with four sharp contrasts, calling us to decisive commitment in Three Critical Kingdom Choices:
A. LIVING THE GOD OR GOOD LIFE? (vv.13-14)
“Enter by the narrow gate … For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”
B. BETWEEN TRUE OR FALSE TEACHERS? (vv.15-23)
“Beware of false prophets … Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven ….” (v. 15a, 21a)
C. BUILDING ON STRONG OR SHAKY GROUND?(vv.24-27)
“Everyone … who does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” (v.24)
Conclusion
Your choices reflect which kingdom you belong to!
