3. “Consider your ways” (vv. 5,7) — “Look at what’s happening to you!” (NLT), “Take a good, hard look at your life. Think it over.” (MSG)
Two critical areas in discipleship to consider and take a hard look at:
A. ASSESS OUR ALIGNMENT WITH GOD (vv. 1-7)
1. “These people say the time has not yet come to rebuild the house of the LORD.” (v. 2)
B. ACCEPT OUR ASSIGNMENT FROM GOD (vv. 8-11)
1. “Go up to the hills and bring wood and build the house, that I may take pleasure in it and that I may be glorified, says the Lord.” (v. 8)
