RESPONSE 1. THE BLINDNESS OF THE RELIGIOUS AUTHORITIES (26:1-5)
“Then the chief priests and the elders… plotted together in order to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill him.” (vv. 3-4)
RESPONSE 2. THE DEVOTION OF THE GRATEFUL SAINT (26:6-13)
“… she has done a beautiful thing to me… wherever this gospel is proclaimed… what she has done will also be told in memory of her.” (vv. 10, 13)
RESPONSE 3. THE BETRAYAL OF THE COMPROMISED SOUL (26:14 – 27:10)
“… What will you give me if I deliver him over to you?” (v. 15)
RESPONSE 4. THE SIN OF THE UNBELIEVING SPIRIT (27:11-27)
