Missions: An Outflow of Our Love Relationship with Jesus

“I’m having a revival in this land. Come join me.” These were the words that Dieu Eng Seng sensed God speaking to him in his spirit as he prayed for Nepal. He was on one of his first mission trips and as he heard the voice of the Lord, he saw a ray of light shining through the darkness, confirming God’s word to him.

“Will You Trust Me to Father My Own Child?”

Fatherhood is a meaningful and rewarding journey. But it is certainly not without challenges. Who do we turn to when we have exhausted all our means? A Covenanter shares his journey as a father to his son, and as a son to our Heavenly Father.

Why Come Back?

Why come back to church? That’s one question I’ve been pondering over the last two years. After all, many of us seemed to be doing quite well with church online during the Circuit Breaker and Heighten Alert etc. Is there any need for onsite church anymore? Because of Jesus Christ’s atoning death on […]

The Church as Community

Let’s begin with a quick exercise. The Bible uses many word pictures and metaphors to describe the church. What are some descriptions that come to your mind? What do they say about the church? A common theme among the metaphors is the preciousness of the church. She is bought with God’s own blood (Acts 20:28). […]

How to Spend a Day With Jesus

One of the spiritual disciplines we need most in this fast-paced world is the practice of silence and solitude. This practice centres us back to God and reorients us to see things from the Lord’s heart and will. We suggest finding a place where you can focus for half a day or a full day. […]

Love Makes Room for Others

Would you make room in your home to someone you don’t know? It is certainly not going to be an easy decision. Nevertheless, a Covenanter family decided not only to open their home, but also make room in their hearts to B.L.E.S.S. a stranger. Find out what moved them to extend such love, and how […]
