Reporting to the Director of Worship, this role works in close partnership and consultation with the Ministry’s Lay Leaders and the Ministry Executive (Worship & Prayer).
Job Responsibilites
There are two aspects of this role:
A. One-Church Responsiblities
- Partner with Executive (Audio Visual), Director (Worship) and Deputy Director (Operations) to ensure that all capital and operational purchases and rental of audio, video, visual and lighting equipment, accessories and services meet the needs of the Worship Ministry, comply with CEFC procedures to ensure fair competition, cost effectiveness, transparency and probity.
- Network with service providers and outlets that deal with audio, video, visual and lighting equipment and solutions so the Church is kept up to date on the latest and most cost effective technologies and expert support on the market.
- Manage the relationships with strategic partners (vendors) to preserve goodwill such that they are willing to respond and provide technical assistance to CEFC at short notice to resolve emergency situations.
- Partner with Executive (Audio Visual), Director (Worship) and Deputy Director (Operations) to perform yearly budgeting for capital and operational expenses of audio, video, visual and lighting equipment, accessories and services across CEFC, to ensure prudence and good stewardship of CEFC funds.
- Work with Ministry Executive (Worship & Prayer) and Executive (Audio Visual) to schedule staff/server resources and technical equipment to support events and activities across all CEFC ministries across all Covenant EFC premises, plus external events using CEFC equipment.
- Partner with Executive (Audio Visual) and Director (Operations) to co-develop, implement and test emergency response plans for situations of critical equipment failure.
- Assist Executive (Audio & Visual) to purchase audio, video, visual and lighting equipment for temporary worship venue during Bukit Panjang’s Additions & Alterations works (should the need arise).
- Assist Executive (Audio & Visual) to provide recommendations and implement plans for purchase, installation and testing of audio, video, visual and lighting equipment during Bukit Panjang’s Additions & Alterations works.
- Assist Executive (Audio Visual) and Director (Worship) to identify training needs for staff and lay servers, as well as suitable courses/trainings to meet these training need so that audio, video, visual and lighting equipment can be operated for worship services and special events across all Covenant EFC premises, plus external events using CEFC equipment.
- In partnership with Executive (Audio Visual), Executive (Building & Facilities) and Director (Operations) and Sengkang Building Committee, provide recommendations and implement plans for purchase, installation and testing of audio, video, visual and lighting equipment, working with acoustic specialists during the construction of the Sengkang Worship Centre
B. Centre-Specific Responsibilities (Woodlands & ACK Centre)
- Work with Ministry Executive (Worship & Prayer) and Audio Visual Ministry Lay Leaders to plan/forecast, recruit, deploy lay servers (volunteers) for Woodlands, and look after their well-being as they serve (possible use of “Planning Center – Worship Scheduling management system).
- Ensure that all CEFC audio, video, visual and lighting assets in Woodlands and ACK are inventoried, tagged and accounted for according to asset management and audit requirements of CEFC.
- In partnership with Executive (Audio & Visual) and Director (Operations) conceptualize and implement plans for the maintenance, upgrading, retirement (re-sell if possible) and replacement of critical equipment over their life cycle in Woodlands and ACK.
- In partnership with Executive (Building & Facilities) and Director (Operations) establish, implement, and periodically review preventive maintenance contracts for equipment and infrastructure in Woodlands and ACK.
- Document and keep updated the overall architecture as well as the detailed schematic diagrams interconnecting audio, video, visual and lighting equipment In Woodlands and ACK.
Requirements
- Proficient and comfortable with hands-on usage of relevant application systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Manage projects from initiation, planning, execution, testing, acceptance, training through to commissioning (go live)
- Initiate and champion change in the team and across the organisation where necessary
- Provide detailed inputs and justification for annual budgeting exercise in relation to the job scope and steward the approved budget towards maximum cost effectiveness
- Technical knowledge and skills in audio, video, visual and lighting (Intermediate)
- Vendor relationship management
- Negotiation skills

Reporting to The Next Generation Director, this role is to lead the Centre’s LPXUP (Lower Primary & Upper Primary) ministry. This role executes TNG strategies, models the CEFC core values and leads the assigned ministry towards TNG mission in CEFC as an Intentional Disciplemaking Church.
Job Responsibilites
- Partner with parents to disciple our young ones to own their faith, live it out and pass it on.
- Cast vision, lead and shepherd lay team of leaders and parents.
- Challenge the F.A.T. (Faithful, Available and Teachable) youths to serve as disciplemakers in LPXUP ministry.
- Organise TNG projects such as Generations Camp, TNG Baptism etc. with TNG staff team.
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a shepherd’s heart.
- Strong team player with creative collaboration skills.
- Experience in strategic planning, execution and vision casting is required.
- Minimum Diploma holder.

We invite you to join the worship ministry if you are a trained pianist, acoustic guitarist, electric guitarist, bassist, or drummer, and have a passion to serve in a team environment. You are required to go through an audition and interview process with commitment to serve once a month (Saturday rehearsal, Sunday serve).
