Who is Jesus
Jesus is the Son of God sent to live an earthly life without sin and died on the Cross to take the punishment for our sins. In doing so, He created for us a way back to God, freely offering forgiveness to all who believe in Him. This gift of eternal life is not based on good deeds we have done or can do, but because God loves each one of us and wants to fellowship with us.
Three days after Jesus died (what we commemorate as Good Friday), He rose from the dead. Today, He lives and works through the Holy Spirit to guide us in His truth.
Jesus is God. He was God even before the world began. But to pay the price for our sins, He had to walk on Earth as a man and bear the consequences of our human failings. Because of this, He understands first-hand the challenges we face and will carry us through them.
Everyone who seeks Jesus will find Him. He has promised to never leave us or abandon us, and calls us to cast all our worries and burdens on Him. When we believe, Jesus starts a work in our lives, changing us to become more like Him as we grow in our walk with Him and fulfil the plan He has for our lives; a plan to give us hope and a future.
