The Gospel

We are all sinners, every one of us. Sin is what separates us from God and results in the punishment of death. Because we are sinners, we have no way to save ourselves or others. Therefore God chose to send His Son Jesus Christ, to bear our sins on the Cross. In doing so, He took upon Himself the sin of the whole world, taking our place and our punishment.

His sacrifice paved the way for us to return to God, allowing everyone who believes in Him and repents to have everlasting life.

This is done by faith in Jesus alone, and nothing you do can add to it.

Your journey doesn't end once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, in fact, it's just beginning! God begins that marvellous work of transformation in your life, moulding you to become more like Jesus. Sometimes it is easy, and other times it can be difficult. God enables us to change by the power of His Holy Spirit who lives in us.

Believe. Recognise in your heart that you are a sinner and trust that Jesus Christ has died on the Cross for your sins. It may help you to say this prayer below. Remember, God hears not merely your words, but your heart. He loves you, He really does! And when you have done so, tell a close friend or a Christian. They can offer you help to find a Christian community where you can grow to know this God who loves you!

Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me and dying for me on the cross. Your precious blood washes me clean of every sin. You are my Lord and savior, now and forever. I believe that You rose from the dead and that You are alive today. Because of Your finished work, I am now a beloved child of God and heaven is my home. Thank You for giving me eternal life and filling my heart with Your peace and joy. Amen.

In any case, whether you've prayed this prayer or not, we invite you to our church and speak with our pastors. They will be more than happy to answer any questions you have. Hope to see you soon!
