Evangelism is about relationships. It flows out through our conversations. It is our personal love-style of sharing about God’s ongoing work in our lives.
Evangelism is a relational style. We enjoy a personal relationship with God. But it doesn’t stop there. God’s love for us compels us to reach out to others that God has surrounded us with.
Evangelism is a conversational style. It flows spontaneously out of our interactions with our FRANS (Friends, Relatives, Associates, Neighbours, even Strangers!). We just can’t stop talking about God and His work in our lives. It is our chat style, our sms style, our email style, our IM style, our Facebook style.
Evangelism is a personal style. It’s about who we are and what God is doing in our lives. It is about living out our faith and sharing the real “me” – without makeup or cover-up. We want to rediscover how God has uniquely gifted us for evangelism. We may not be the next Billy Graham, but we can certainly be 100% ourselves!

People are lost without Jesus. They can – and must – know Him. Christians need to develop an intentional lifestyle of regularly sharing our faith with our FRANS. It’s a major part of being “salt” and “light” in our world. That’s our identity and destiny.
In view of that, how should we as Christians live? The acronym of PDA captures the three elements of the disciplemaking lifestyle: P = Personal revival; D = Divine appointments; and A = Active obedience. To encourage and equip Covenanters towards the PDA lifestyle, the Outreach Ministry majors on developing strategies, tools and training, while also providing advice, resources and coordination for church outreach events.
We have several Ministry Teams for this purpose. Come join us either as a participant or a volunteer!
Seeker Groups
The Seeker ministry team provides an informal platform to explore Christianity. Each small group of two host-facilitators and several non-Christians meets over four weekly sessions at a coffee joint (e.g. Starbucks, Coffee Bean) to discuss the most common questions about the Christian faith – “How do I know God exists?” “How did we get the Bible?” “Don’t all religions teach the same thing?” “Why is Jesus unique?” If you’re not yet a Christian, come investigate further. The first cup’s on us!
If you’d like to find more about Jesus and the abundant life He offers to you, check out “Two Ways to Live”.
Nurture Groups
The Nurture ministry team equips Covenanters to follow-up on new converts as Covenanters journey alongside these new converts to help them to grow in understanding and living out their newfound faith. This spiritual nurturing process takes place one-to-one and in small groups, through an intentional process over the course of one year.
Community Outreach
The Community Outreach (CO) ministry team provides opportunities for Covenanters to impact the community around them with God’s love and the gospel. We want to bless the community through kind deeds, outreach events and relevant programmes, so that we may shine as lights, pointing the way to Christ.
Outreach to Internationals
The Outreach to Internationals (OI) ministry team befriends, helps, and teaches the Bible to internationals (both students and workers). We want to see them become willing and faithful followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and fellow-workers in sharing the gospel of Jesus, whether here in Singapore or back in their home countries. We currently have regular events/programmes for tertiary and postgraduate students, and Indonesian and Filipino domestic workers.
