Family Life

Families are the basic building blocks of society, they say. How true. Then what about in a disciplemaking church? Can discipleship that aspires to transform the marketplace, reach the community, impact the mission field, and win the world, not first and foremost touch the home?

If we are to be an intentional disciplemaking church, then every family in the church must also be an intentional disciplemaking family! Discipleship must first begin at home. And that’s what Covenant’s Family Life Ministry is here for: being disciples, making disciples; first in the family, first at home.

For the Courting

  1. Discovery Weekend
    If you are a courting couple, this full-day workshop is for you. It aims to help you establish a strong foundation in your relationship, develop honest interaction, establish biblical principles and maintain purity in your courtship. You can download the registration form here and register at the Information booth at our worship centres on Sundays. The cost is $50. Please pay at the Infomation booth by cash or by cheque.

For the Married and Pre-Married

  1. Marriage Preparation Course
    This ten-week course, conducted in small groups of three couples each, helps couples who are planning to get married establish a strong foundation for marriage by following God’s biblical blueprint.
  2. Wedding Application

  3. Marriage Enrichment
    Wherever you are in your marriage journey, whether you are newly-weds or past your silver anniversary, in a strong marriage or struggling in some areas, this eight-week course will strengthen your marriage, making it more fulfilling and emotionally enriching.
  4. Marriage Breakthrough Weekend
    We believe that a couple’s spiritual union and intimacy is the core foundation of a marriage. Join a community of other couples for this three-day retreat to encounter God and reclaim this crucial foundation.

For the Parents and Pre-Parents

  1. Preparation for Parenting
    This 4-session course for couples planning to start a family covers both the spiritual and practical aspects of antenatal planning, childcraft and early childhood parenting. Come and find out how to lay a foundation for parenting from a godly perspective, and be equipped spiritually and practically to do so.
  2. Parenting Modules
    These modules give parents the knowledge and tools to parent biblically and to disciple their children. Come learn how to build a loving family by raising morally responsible children. The modules are:
    - Growing Kids God’s Way (18 months upwards)
    - Along The Middle Years (8-12 years)
    - Reaching The Heart of Your Teen (10 yrs upwards)

 For Anyone In Need

  1. Lay Counselling
    Lay counsellors are available to disciple the wounded and restore them to becoming a significant part of the Body of Christ.
