PERSONAL PRAYER
Read Luke 15:11–32
It is the father’s strong and generous love that enabled him to release his younger son to make bad life choices and receive him when he returns. The father demonstrated this love for his older son with his presence and granting co-ownership of all he had (verse 31).
Reflect
• “I am not worthy to be called your son/daughter.” Is this your heart’s cry?
• Do you enjoy your Heavenly Father’s presence and “every spiritual blessing” in Christ (Eph 1:3)?
• Would you be offended or would you be rejoicing when lavish attention is given to lost children returning to the Father?
Pray
• Thank and praise God for His strong and generous love lavished on us.
• Ask God for a heart desiring to be with Him, live in His blessings and see other children return to Him.

Our Dream
New Life Children: Love children by mentoring them to become character champions.
New Life Youth: Building character and developing resilience through life’s transforming purpose.
Three Greatest Prayer Needs
1. Thanksgiving
• New programmes such as Magic Mentoring.
• Consolidation and growth of established programmes such as the Youth Hub, Steady Readers and Kids Champ Club.
2. New Life Children: pray for strengthening of the leadership of the department, and favour as programmes are launched in Woodlands as well as in Bukit Panjang, for greater opportunities in collaboration with schools.
3. New Life Youth: pray for the smooth and timely completion of the new Youth Hub in Woodlands, that we will serve the real needs for the youths, and be a good role model and
mentor to youths. Pray for greater intentionality in reaching disadvantaged youths, and wisdom in doing casework and counselling in the Enhanced STEP-UP programme. We also need a Youth Manager for Woodlands.
